For the first time in school history, Spartan student-athletes are able to compete in high school hockey. Sparta, Comstock Park, and Northview have created a co-op model of varsity hockey. Northview serves as the host school. This team opened the 2011-12 season with a 6-5 overtime win over Grand Rapids Christian.
